Also, going to Seodaemon allowed me to see a side of Korea that I'd certainly not seen here in Bundang. Since Bundang is so new, we don't have these narrow, dirty streets, but I kinda like them. They have character. I'm looking forward to going to church on Sunday and seeing them, especially once the weather clears up. Cold weather no more.

Church on Sunday
In case ya'll were wondering, I did go to Church on Sunday. It was ward/branch conference and there was a good number of people here and a potluck afterward. Because of the conference, fast and testimony meeting is next Sunday and there's a break the fast afterward and I was told I could bring whatever. I'm not sure what to bring since I'm going to take the subway. It's a lot cheaper than the Express bus and only takes a little longer. I took the express bus home with one of the guys in the ward who also lives in Bundang and it got caught in a lot of traffic on the way home and this did not set well with my stomach. I had a lot of good food after church. Several women made wonderful soups. I got a creamy chili sort of soup. Okay, so some pics.

Sally I just read your comments for the last few days. Seems you are really settling in. I am really proud of what you are doing, kiddo, though of course I have to worry about you being so far away again!
Viv and I spent two weeks in Tupelo, MS and got lots of new info on the family genealogy. Seems lots of our ancestors fought in the War of Northern Aggression. At least 4 were with Nathan Bedford Forrest (the cavalry hero).
I will see if I can come up with something to help you with those 4-5 year olds. Their attention span isn't very long, so keeping them interested can be a daunting task.
Meanwhile, give Luna hugs from her mother. :-)
Love you mucho,
Grandma
Thanks Grandma, I really miss you too. It's good to know everything is going well with the genealogy though. Yes, the kid's attention span is pretty small. My coteacher is pretty good at keeping them focused and still managing to have fun with them, but she does have a lot more experience than I do. I'm getting better most of the time, but my allergies are such that I have trouble being heard sometimes. I suppose I have to stop them early. Anyway, if you have any advice, drop me an email.
XOXO
